Last year, our organization held statewide meetings at the University of Maryland ones-Hill House Football facility, and they were an overwhelming success and well attended by coaches from across the state. Coach Locksley and his staff rolled out the red carpet for us, and really made us feel welcome.
This year, again through the generosity of Coach Locksley and his staff, we are meeting at the University of Maryland again on April 10th. This meeting is totally free to MFCA members, and the staff at Maryland is giving you the opportunity to professional develop and clinic your staff in several different formats. If you wish to, you and your staff can arrive as early as 2:00 PM, attend position meetings and attend practice at 3:45. After practice, the MFCA will have pizza, soda, and water in the Jones-Hill House Cafeteria. Then, at 7:00 PM, the MFCA will hold a short organization meeting in the Jones-Hill House Team Auditorium. Lastly, the University of Maryland football staff will provide chalk talks and beer. Again, everything Thursday night is free to MFCA members.
To register, use the document below as a guide for registration. Please also have any of your assistant coaches that plan on attending register as well. This will just give us an accurate headcount for food and refreshments.
Also attached is the flyer for Maryland’s football clinic on Friday and Saturday. The cost is $75 per coach and includes a social on Friday and meals for both days. Please keep in mind that registering for one event does not automatically sign you up for the other; the MFCA Thursday activities are separate from the clinic.
